This Privacy Policy describes the management methods of the alteaweb.it website regarding the processing of personal data of users. Transparency is a fundamental value for us: data in our possession will under no circumstances be transferred to third parties for commercial purposes and will be processed in strict compliance with the GDPR.

2. Types of Data Collected and Purpose
We collect data strictly necessary for the following purposes:
a) Contract Execution: order management, shipping (via third-party couriers) and after-sales assistance.
b) Legal Obligations: tax, accounting and regulatory fulfillments.
c) Security: server logs (IP address) are automatically recorded to prevent fraud, cyber attacks and to ascertain any crimes (Legitimate Interest of the Controller).
3. Payments and Third Parties
To ensure maximum security, Alteaweb does not acquire or store credit card data. For payment, the user is redirected to the secure platforms of PayPal or Fabrick, which act as independent data controllers for the financial transaction.
4. Retention Period
Data relating to orders are kept for 10 years (tax legal obligation). Navigation data and technical logs are kept for the time strictly necessary to guarantee the security of the site and then deleted.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to the GDPR, the user has the right to request at any time access to their data, rectification, cancellation ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing or to object to their use by writing to the email address indicated above.
6. Cookie Policy
Alteaweb exclusively uses Technical Cookies. In compliance with the ePrivacy Directive (Cookie Law):
Session Cookie (OCSESSID): necessary for the shopping cart and authentication.
Personalization Cookie (language): necessary to store the navigation language chosen by the user.
All main technical cookies are protected by HttpOnly and Secure flags.
We do not use profiling, marketing or third-party tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) to monitor user habits. In compliance with the Privacy Authority Guidelines, the use of technical cookies only does not require the installation of a prior consent banner, as the disclosure obligation is fulfilled via the link in the site footer.
