In principle, fixing to the ground is not necessary, the modules are stable enough to be stepped on or climbed over without further precautions. Each model has connectors and sockets that allow the platforms of the same series to be connected infinitely to each other. If the conditions of use require it, it is possible to fix it to the ground thanks to the provisions of some models or by drilling the inside of a channel.
It is possible to install the cable mats on a public road but be careful when using some models with large dimensions such as the CC078X2M because, having a height of 10 cm, some cars with low trim are unable to cross it.

Cable protectors are easy and safe to install. Surfaces, edges and corners are designed in such a way that there is no risk of injury. Models weighing up to 20 kg can be transported safely by just one person. Models weighing more than 20 kg can be transported safely by two people.
The supported load is generally calculated on an area of 20cm x 20cm, which corresponds to the support of a tyre. The load-bearing capacity specified in the descriptions is considered on flat, firm ground but may be significantly reduced on uneven or soft ground. We guarantee the load-bearing capacity of our cable protectors only with the correct use of unmodified products on firm, level ground. The reference capacity of a cable mat does not mean that it will be destroyed by the passage of a vehicle that exceeds this reference, it means that the service life will be longer if vehicles pass below the declared capacity
Cable protectors help protect pipes (e.g. water/sewer) and low voltage cables up to 500V (e.g. communication/control/power cables). The cable protector are NOT suitable for rigid gas pipes.
The platforms can be cleaned without problems, also using steam pressure washers. To always guarantee optimal functioning, always keep the hinge area and the closure clean and lightly lubricate the hinge and closure at regular intervals, preferably using Teflon or silicone spray - normally available on the market. After application, remove excess lubricant to avoid slipping hazards.
